Wait Is Over...Samsung Galaxy S II launched in India at Rs. 32,890


Galaxy S, which sold more than 10 million units globally, is the I9100 Galaxy S II, now sporting a bigger 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, dual-core processor and the latest version of Android.

8 megapixel with LED Flash on the back and a 2 megapixel secondary camera.

Galaxy S2 is Samsung's flagship phone in its smartphone line-up, the Cadillac of Androids. The phone will be available in retail outlets starting June 9, and debuts at a retail price of 32,890.

Windows Phone Mango 7.1 update



Windows Phone version 7.1 Mango, which will include about 500 new nifty features to make the platform more functional than before. The update will be available free of cost to all eligible Windows Phone 7 users by fall 2011, though we are unsure whether it would arrive in India during the same time.

Aircel to launch Apple iPhone 4 in India on May 27


Wireless network provider Aircel has officially announced that it is all prepared to start selling the iPhone 4 in India starting May 27. Apple's latest smartphone took a jolly good time to hit the Indian shores, we're hoping Apple follows it up with the newer update just like they did with the iPad 2.

Aircel is selling the iPhone 4 with prepaid as well as postpaid subscription plans and they are have some interesting tariff plans for both the subscribers


The basic plan is priced at 599 INR, the next is at 699 INR and the last one is priced at 799 INR. All offer free local minutes and 3G data.

Windows 8 for PCs and tablets by 2012


Microsoft will ship Windows 8 for desktop computers and tablets next year and the updated Windows Phone 7 will have 500 new features.
Announcing that the company has sold over 350 million Windows 7 PCs this year, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said yesterday: "We have added touch and ink and speech. And yet, as we look forward to the next generation of Windows systems, which will come out next year, there is a whole lot more coming."
